Every photographer knows about the “Golden Hour,” the hour of diffuse, warm light that is available the first hour after sunrise. This light helps make landscapes, portraits, and almost any outdoor photo better. I also like to use this warm light as a backlight for Nature Close-ups. These close-ups during an Autumn Golden Hour also get the added benefit of an early morning dew still clinging to the foliage before the mid-day sun burns it off.
